Le magnifique sable rose p\u00e2le de la plage s&rsquo;\u00e9tend sur une longueur de 5 km du c\u00f4t\u00e9 atlantique de l&rsquo;\u00eele et sur une largeur pouvant aller jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 30 m dans certaines zones.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La couleur de la plage de sable rose de Harbour Island provient d&rsquo;un organisme microscopique dot\u00e9 d&rsquo;une coquille rose rouge\u00e2tre appel\u00e9e foraminif\u00e8res. La petite cr\u00e9ature vit sous les rochers et le long des r\u00e9cifs de l&rsquo;oc\u00e9an. Les vagues, le courant et les poissons font tomber ces petits animaux qui brisent leur carapace.
