Rates for a house rental in the Bahamas vary with the seasonality. During high season, the demand is high and rates are high. Owners are in the position of strength and can require longer minimum stays. Hotels are employing the same strategy to maximize their revenues.

During low season they may have a 3 day minimum and have a 7 days minimum during high season. Renters can of course attempt to discuss and negotiate minimum stays but of course there are no guarantees.
