Driving in Harbour Island, Bahamas

Harbour island is a very small Island measuring 3.5 miles long . Visiting the island you will see a vast majority of Golf Carts, some ATV and a few cars. As a visitor the best mode of transportation is definitely golf carts.

Driving in Harbour island and in the Bahamas is on the left side of the road and most vehicles including golf carts come from the US so the driving position is on the left side. It will take as little as 30 minutes to get used to it, and visitors should always reflect on it every time they embark in their vehicles. Drivers should be at least 18 years olds and have a valid driving license from their country of origin. Speed on the island is limited and should be self respected by drivers.

The best way to get directions on the island is with the use of local maps, it is truly a small place that you will understand pretty quickly. If you dont you will enjoy getting lost for a few minutes on this exotic island.
