Beaches in Harbour Island are public, so anybody renting a vacation home will have access to the beach. Hotels and beachfront owners usually install tiki huts or lounge chairs in the portion that abuts the dune. As a matter of courtesy other visitors install their towels or chairs closer to the ocean to leave them some privacy.

Visitors can also rent lounge chairs from local businesses that have secured the right to do so. Those beach operators also offer drinks to their customers. The pink sandy beaches of Harbour Island are not only breathtaking but they are also large and long. It is very easy to find privacy along this incredible 3.5 miles stretch of paradise.
